White Rabbit (Commissioned-SOLD) 36" X 48", an original acrylic painting by Lake Oswego fine artist George Porter appeared in the 2016 Fall Juried Show at Oregon Society of Artists.

White Rabbit is the artist's first allegory, a painting that explores modern sociological issues and stereotypes through classical literature. Drawing on C.S. Lewis's "Alice in Wonderland", the painting depicts a group of Hells Angels having a tea party that is about to be busted by the police in front of a building that displays two murals: one of the modern day Berlin Wall where the Dancing to Freedom banner is being sucked away by SWAT Team members. Read the full story in the artist's Fine Art Blog ...

In it, the artist uses dramatic colors, glowing light, and portraits of the collectors' parents to preserve happy family memories spent on the Oregon Coast.

This stunning seascape features the Huntington Beach Pier in Huntington Beach, California, a well-known and loved location by the client, where a lone surfer is catching a final wave at sunset, set against a blazing orange and yellow sky.
